EasyMop method (impregnated)
The EasyMop method represents state-of-the-art technology in hospital cleaning. The mop covers and (optional) surface wiping wipers are handed over to the cleaners ready to use and impregnated in 3 stages.
The following techniques are possible (and can, of course, be combined with one another and extended):
- Manual: 6 mop covers are placed in the system box, and then the predetermined quantity of cleaning solution is poured over them out of a measuring cup/bucket. Once this is complete, a further 6 mop covers are placed in the system box, which is then closed and turned over. After 5 minutes the mop covers are uniformly moistened.
- Semiautomatic: Instead of manual pouring, the cleaning solution is added using a permanently installed dosing unit which ensures both constant quantity and concentration of the cleaning solution.
- Automatic: The mop covers are soaked in the cleaning solution actually in the washing machine during the last rinsing cycle and then spin-dried to the required degree of moisture. They can then be taken out ready for use. This last option is only available using special washing machine technology.
The decision about the method selection depends mainly on the size of the building and the technical facilities available.
